How Many People Have You Hurt Throughout Your Life?

Hello. One of the realizations that comes to those who walk the path of spiritual evolution is becoming aware of what we have done in this world and of what our role truly is. One of these realizations is recognizing all the harm we have caused to the world and to other people.

Admitting this is one of the hardest things we can do because it goes against our ego. We are always creating excuses or blaming others for our actions.

We all like to believe that we are good people, that we are the heroes of our own story, and that everything we have done is justified by circumstances outside ourselves.

However, as we draw closer to the Eternal Consciousness, these illusions begin to dissolve. The time comes to face our own guilt, acknowledge our mistakes, and ask the Eternal for forgiveness. Although confronting the ego is painful, we are greatly blessed to have the opportunity to do so while we are still alive. Many people will only become aware of their failures after death, during a deeply painful period of confrontation. Until then, they will continue living miserable lives, harming both others and themselves.

As we come closer to the Eternal Consciousness or simply, the Eternal, we begin to remember our actions and feel the pain of those we have hurt or wronged, even if it was through something that seemed small, such as judging someone, spreading gossip, or speaking ill of others. In doing so, we can ask the Eternal for forgiveness and, whenever possible, make amends directly with those we have wronged. By receiving this inner forgiveness, we can build a new path and cease being agents of disharmony and evil, becoming instead agents of harmony and blessings in this world.

This differs from the teachings of many other religions, which hold that a divine being can assume or remove the guilt for our actions. In our philosophy and religion, we are personally responsible and must face the consequences of our deeds, both in this life and in the afterlife, where our mistakes and our virtues will become fully evident. The consequences are real and often painful, yet they are also liberating. This inner confrontation is essential if we are to evolve and become better human beings through our process of spiritual harmonization.

So, take a deep look at your life. Reflect on all the harm you have caused, whether consciously or unconsciously, throughout your existence. Ask forgiveness for your mistakes, make amends wherever you still can, be just, pray to the Eternal, and change your path today. It is painful to confront the ego, to stop making excuses, to stop blaming other people or life's circumstances, but this is what will truly set you free and help you become a better human being every day.

Seek reflection, peace, goodness, and everything that is good and harmonious for your life. Remember that this does not mean avoiding conflict or refusing to stand against those who do wrong. Rather, it means living a full life with the wisdom to act rightly in every situation. There will always be people who seek to provoke or harm us, and we should always defend ourselves with justice, taking care that we never become creators of chaos ourselves.

May the Eternal bless us, today and always, with His Wisdom and Consciousness.

Aisi~
