You Have Been Manipulated Your Entire Life, and You Still Are

Hello! When we were teenagers, we remember really liking a rock band, but whenever we listened to that band's cassette tapes, we would become depressed. The band's sound was great, and the lyrics were quite poetic, but they always conveyed hopelessness, abandonment, loneliness, and sadness.

And that band wasn't the only one. If you look at a large part of the famous artists from the past and even today, and observe the imagery associated with their music videos, you will clearly notice a pattern: young people are always destroying themselves, making messes, partying, causing trouble, and using drugs, whether legal or illegal. There is also an appeal to violence, disrespect toward older people and families, as well as the sexualization of women.

Genres such as rock and hip-hop soon went from being forms of musical protest against the system to promoting the harmful influence of sex, drugs, and partying, always with something empty and meaningless, focused solely on consumerism, idol worship, and an aesthetic of depravity. Have you ever noticed how rock videos are often set in half-demolished places, creating a kind of nihilistic atmosphere, while hip-hop is so often about flaunting brands, being a gangster, and sex?

All of this is proportional. It is a project designed to prevent us from reaching our full potential.

However, the manipulation is not limited to these two genres. In pop culture, fashion, variety shows, and even the news, everything is designed to keep us in the same place and prevent us from progressing. In the news, fear and hopelessness are imposed on us every day. The news is always alarmist or conformist, as if the problems in the world had no solutions and we should simply accept them.

But it doesn't stop there. School — or rather, the teachings that come from the experts who developed the historical narratives — is also part of this. So, don't blame the teachers. These experts created artificial narratives about various subjects, such as human history, the calendar, or chronology, as well as concealing technologies and accounts of various civilizations, including other species that inhabited the Earth.

So, that's it: manipulation comes from all the foundations that make up our human civilization.

And it doesn't end there. They also attack people when they begin to reject this lifestyle.

For example, when we began following our religion, there were only a few of us, and all we did was gather to socialize, read interesting passages from books, discuss ideas, sing positive songs that we composed, reflect on life, and offer prayers of gratitude to the Creator.

We were a very positive group and an example for young people. Even so, we were attacked by various people because we did not behave according to what was expected of young people. According to these people, we should have been doing what they call “enjoying life”: going to loud parties with questionable-quality music, drinking until we passed out, and pursuing sex. Or, on the other hand, we should have been in churches, obeying some religious leader, filled with guilt over our supposed sins and waiting for the apocalypse.

But our path was simply to read many books, create art and music, engage in reflection, and also take good care of our health by exercising and not harming anyone.

Even so, we were persecuted, slandered, and even faced the risk of being assaulted or killed. All of this shows how deeply people had been manipulated throughout their lives, to the point of attacking young people who were living healthy and positive lives.

But time passed, and our religion proved that we were right. Today, we reap the fruits of the teachings we learned through our religion and its way of life: having a healthy body, a dignified life, and inner peace.

Of course, there were many challenges, but we persevered. Unfortunately, many of the people who persecuted us have faced various problems to this day because they refused to see the manipulation they were caught up in and believed that we were crazy members of a dangerous cult.

But the only danger we represent is making people more educated: encouraging them to read many books, take good care of their health and personal finances, learn to free themselves from the guilt of sin, and become better and more conscious human beings.

May the Eternal continue to bless us on His path and guide us toward enlightenment.
